Learning Project 3

Posted By: • October 14th, 2015

The topic for the third learning project will be informed by the outcomes of the second learning project as through listening to survivors’ voices the project will be able to identify the priority area for the third learning project. So far, two key topics that emerged out of the regional mapping exercise, that this third project could cover, were:

  • Livelihood support and economic strengthening, including links to social protection schemes, and building on and enhancing existing positive community-based child protection mechanisms and resources for protecting, supporting and empowering CSE survivors.
  • Psycho-social support and care during recovery and reintegration, recognising and responding to the special mental health and disability needs of survivors, and the the need to work out with the child / young person solutions which are holistic but also tailored to their needs, since not all approaches work with all young people (there is no one size fits all).

We welcome your views on the above to help us in the process of identifying the priority area for the third learning project within RISE.
